Durante mucho tiempo una suposición común ha sido que en el mundo se "agotarán" el petróleo y otros recursos no renovables. Sin embargo parece que hay excedentes y los precios están bajos ¿Qué está sucediendo que no fue previsto por M. King Hubbert, Harold Hotelling[*1] ni por el concepto clásico de oferta y demanda?
